La Piotta Oltrepò
A new generation of winemakers
La Piotta was founded in 1985 by grandfather Luigi, following in the footsteps of the Padroggi family dedicated to the wine world for generations. The founder of the company, and subsequently his sons Gabriele and Mario, dedicated their lives to creating and growing the company. The third generation of winemakers then joined the management of “La Piotta”: the young Enrico and Luca work alongside their fathers in the technical, production and commercial aspects.

Straw yellow in color, it has a fine and persistent perlage
with soft foam. The aroma is broad, with hints
of bread crust and dried fruit.
On the palate it is dry, fresh, with an elegant structure and good acidity.

Organic farming
After many years of low-impact cultivation, “organically grown” certification for our wines and sparkling wines officially arrived in 2005.
Organic farming is a type of agriculture that has two closely related goals: to safeguard the health of the Earth and at the same time that of its inhabitants, who feed on agricultural products. Organic farming is therefore synonymous with healthy and clean agriculture, and this means eliminating pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and chemical synthetic fertilizers in all stages of processing, production, processing and storage of the product.
